The one and only place where Haggen really made their mark on their converted stores was the produce department, which got this huge mural stretching the full length of the wall. Haggen's ads at the time often featured produce as one of the things that they claimed to improve on compared to Albertsons or Safeway, but I doubt they were ever able to actually carry meaningfully different products due to their overexpansion into markets that they had no existing suppliers for.
