This store's layout isn't a direct copy of anything from Safeway or Albertsons, but it does have some notably Albertsons-like characteristics, including the placement of the meat service counter in the middle of the back wall. In fact, basically this whole picture looks like something from a converted Albertsons! There's really nothing about this store that looks like something out of a pre-merger Safeway -- well, except for all the store brands, of course. Refreshe in particular hasn't changed much over the years.
