Another way that this decor caters to California is obvious in the meat department's greenwashing, claiming the meat and seafood on order was created "sustainably" and "naturally". I don't have particularly strong opinions on the meat industry compared to a lot of people out there, and I am in no way vegetarian... but it's clear that there are a lot of issues with the sustainability of meat and (even more so) fishing. Even ignoring that, this is just plain boring -- the dimensional outlined letters are a neat concept, but everything here is just so grey, and the stamp graphic has become quite overused in meat department decors.
