While this store's X-lights were still in place, for some reason, they weren't set at the distinctive 45-degree angle, and the produce displays were similarly set in a plain grid rather than being at an angle as was standard for Lifestyle stores. I've seen this before, but I have no idea what the history is with it or whether or not this sort of thing was a later modification.
Huh, I don't remember now, but was it common for Lifestyle v1 to capitalize the P in Pure & Wholesome? I always remembered all the department signs being lowercase, like 'fresh from the fields' is here, but maybe that was more of a Lifestyle v2 thing and Lifestyle v1 was a bit more inconsistent.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this is a classic early Lifestyle look. It is so dark that we're having a hard time getting a look at anything, lol.
Ha, no, that definitely wasn't normal -- I'm going to get into that soon!
