It was nice to see a Lifestyle arbor still in place over the floral department in this store -- I've always thought these were a classy touch, and it's too bad that Safeway decided to remove them from basically all of their US stores in the years following the merger. This picture also shows off the dim Lifestyle lighting that was similarly removed from US Safeways. Off in the background, the Starbucks kiosk is still in place, sitting right in the entryway tower -- I'm a little surprised that Sobeys has kept Safeway's Starbucks kiosks since in-store coffee kiosks don't seem to be all that common in Canada, especially compared to the Northwest.
