Fresh Every Day (but not for everyone)

I wish this picture of the front end had turned out better, because those "Fresh Every Day" posters have the weird Kroger logo-based "delivery/pickup/ship/in-store" logos on them -- one of the only times I've ever seen mainstream Kroger branding at QFC, which typically goes its own way to differentiate its branding from Fred Meyer's. Anyway, the front end is a bit less messy now than it was previously, though it still has its old-fashioned, miniature checkstands.

Those colored stripes look quite strange here...and probably anywhere. Urban Mix, at least as it exists here in Houston, has a bit of an upscale look, but this doesn't look particularly upscale. At least it is better than a plain white wall. Yes, I'm looking at you, Artisan!

That "Fresh Every Day" slogan is quite strange. Then again, given the price comparison I did between QFC and Fred Meyer a few months back, using the 'everyone' word with QFC might not be appropriate, lol.

    1. I don't really mind it... as you mentioned, it looks a lot nicer than just a blank wall, and that's what was here before.
