This angle is definitely back to looking fairly blah. If they actually manage to get plants to grow on the trellis on the right, that will look nice, but I have my doubts -- I've hardly ever seen that sort of trellis succeed. It's a real Seattle scene on the street here -- between the last picture and this one, we have a Subaru, multiple Rav-4s, and a car parked facing the wrong way! 😉
Ha, I was going to comment about the backwards car in the previous photo! It looks like the backwards car is a Subaru as well!
ReplyDeleteThere was a large Subaru distribution center, for parts or something I suppose, in Gresham/Troutdale that we passed quite frequently while driving to our hotel while we were up there. Jokes were made that with all the Subarus in the NW, that made for the perfect place for a distribution center! Of course, it is funny because most of the cars in the parking lot at the distribution center aren't even Subarus! Link: https://goo.gl/maps/pKSRY9B5gkj5SZxe7
Toyota RAV4s are pretty popular here as well. I guess they are everywhere in the US...unfortunately. Hopefully nobody reading this here has a RAV4, lol. It looks like the LED daytime running light on the Honda behind that RAV4 in the photo isn't working unless it is one of those cars that turns the running lamps off if the turn signal is on...though I don't see evidence of a turn signal being on, but it might be hard to see that in the photo.
I suppose all this talk about cars means that the outside of this Safeway is really boring, lol.
I'm not sure what that car is, but I don't think it's a Subaru -- their SUVs all have black trim all over them, and the shape doesn't look quite either. But I don't know.
DeleteI don't mind Rav4s all that much, though I'm not happy with how they've ballooned from some of the smallest SUVs available to a generic, fairly large crossover. As for the Honda, who knows, but some LED lighting doesn't show up well on camera -- maybe that's what was going on there. I really hate cars where the DRL turns off when the turn signal is on -- since DRLs are so bright these days, it draws your attention to the wrong side of the car!
It certainly is boring, no question there! And it doesn't help that I took a lot more exterior photos than I normally would, simply because there's no way to fit the whole place into one shot!
