It's hard to get more early-80s than this -- bright colors, funky fonts, curved soffits, and wood paneling. Even the tile screams 80s -- my grandparents have a house that was built around this time, and it originally had that exact same tile in the kitchen and all the bathrooms. While I mentioned earlier that Save Mart is in no way a high-end chain, this store must have seemed quite deluxe in 1983, not just because of its decor but also because of its full compliment of service departments, something that was just starting to catch on at the time!
