For the most part, Pavilions Lifestyle uses the same general design as normal Lifestyle v2, just with some extra upscale flair -- kind of similar to Modern versus Modern Deluxe these days (though Modern Deluxe isn't deluxe enough for Pavilions!). The aisle markers are a clear exception, both in that they are an entirely different design from what Lifestyle v2 typically used, and because they actually look cheaper than the standard design in my opinion! They really lack the overall cohesive look of regular Lifestyle v2 (something that is true of Pavilions Lifestyle overall) and also the dimensionality of the normal aisle markers. They probably looked a little better when this store was in its original state -- for example, the sponge-painted texture within the arch (such a mid-00s element!) was also used on the walls of some stores with this package, but on the other hand, the fonts are just all over the place (and yes, these are the original Pavilions category plaques), with the categories using all-lowercase text in a sans-serif font rather than the serif, all-capitals font used in the rest of Pavilions Lifestyle, even including the aisle numbers. And if you're confused by the V-like design at the bottom, that's because it's from a (seemingly little-used) older version of the Pavilions logo -- I guess whoever was responsible for converting this store to Vons didn't realize that fact since they left the logo intact on every single aisle marker throughout the store.
