This view is almost identical to one I posted earlier from the other side of the building, but the lighting is much better from this angle! Unfortunately, instead of the ghosts of department store restaurants past, all we have in the foreground here is the store's loading dock and trash compactor. Northgate included a service tunnel under the mall corridor to keep this sort of thing out of view, but that concept doesn't seem to have ever taken off, and even Allied dropped it for Tacoma and Southcenter. (Somehow, the Northgate service tunnel seems to still be in use, despite the mall above it being almost all gone!)
