I'm not sure how long Macy's has used this particular christmas decor, but it has been around quite a while, and the brass "gift box" frames around the artificial trees look straight out of the 80s! I'm sure it's much newer than that, but the whole presentation still looks fairly dated, especially compared to what Nordstrom does.
