This is probably the only time I've ever seen a Safeway with an ℞ sign on the outside -- in this store's era, the standard was to just use "Safeway Food & Drug" signs as this store has in the background, while the norm ever since the 2005 logo was to have a "Pharmacy" sign instead (like basically every other store).
