Speaking of new Safeway marketing efforts, did you see the press release today about the merging of various Signature brand items all into the Signature Select banner with the new Signature Select logo? I guess it isn't a big thing, but I was just getting used to the previous Signature Select logo! Now we'll have to look out for something new again. The new logo is quite generic and looks like the Miracle Gro logo so hopefully Safeway does not get too excited about selling soil in their stores like that Seattle QFC did, lol.
No, I hadn't seen that -- interesting! I never much liked the current tag logo, so I won't be sad to see it go, even if the new logo is very bland. I'm surprised they're getting rid of the Signature Cafe brand (I wonder if they're getting rid of it altogether or just on store-brand products), but I honestly didn't realize Signature Farms was still an active brand, even though I have multiple things in my fridge right now from that brand! If even someone like me didn't realize Signature Farms still existed, I can't imagine many people noticed it...
