Health and Dairy

 

The far end of the back wall is home to the milk case, strangely separated from the rest of the dairy department (even more so than in the typical Safeway) and across the aisle from the health and beauty section. Normally, I don't like it when there's open space above service departments and their walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, but it works with the pharmacy here since there are windows behind it! (Though I'm surprised they chose to put the pharmacy here in the first place, blocking off all of the ground-level windows on this corner of the building.) The rest of the service departments, though, just have the typical messy black hole look above, which is unfortunate for what's otherwise quite a nice store.
