Instead, it reminds me very strongly of a 90s Albertsons, with that arch-in-a-gable design and those automatic swinging doors (which do appear to have been a common trait in Canada Safeways, rather than the sliding doors standard in US Safeways). If I saw this in the US, I would have immediately assumed this was a former Albertsons, but that obviously isn't the case in Vancouver!
