In theory, the alcove in the background is supposed to be this store's electronics department, but unlike a real Fred Meyer, they don't seem to sell anything beyond the basics. Perhaps they just gave up on that -- despite the locking cases, I imagine they would have a lot of trouble with theft if they decided to sell high-value items here! I also didn't look at it in detail since the people in this shot were hanging around the whole time I was down here.
