I read that as "Mango" at first

I was quite surprised to see all of the service meat cases covered up with posters like this, something I'm used to seeing only in stores where the service meat department has been shut down. That doesn't appear to be the case here, but I did visit this store later in the day, so it's possible the "butcher shop" was just shut down for the day -- not sure why they would bother covering the cases just for the overnight period, though! The lack of Lifestyle wall tile inside the service department itself is a bit odd too -- I'm not sure if that's a one-off thing for this store, a Safeway Canada thing at the time, or perhaps the result of the strangest part of this store's history -- but more on that thought later!
