One interesting side effect of this store being overlooked for so long is that some elements added in the remodel are a step ahead of what most stores have! For example, this is one of the very few stores in the Seattle region to have the current exterior pharmacy sign (all-caps, in the same font as the Safeway logo, and without an icon) rather than the Lifestyle-era one that was still being used through 2019 or 2020.
