In a case of "what's old is new again", this store never got a Lifestyle-era floral island, retaining its counter along the back wall; the Port Angeles Safeway, which is rumored to be an experimental store (and that definitely aligns with my experience shopping there), recently had its floral island replaced with a counter similar to what Safeway used before the Lifestyle era! It's strange to see the produce cases extending under the floral department sign -- it probably would have looked odd either way, but I'm surprised they didn't center the sign on the part of the wall that is above the floral alcove.
