Stepping inside

As with most (if not all) London Drugs I visited, this store is quite visually chaotic inside, with signs, product displays, and such all over the place. As such, it's hard to pull any specific things out of this picture to discuss! It is interesting to see the older-looking self checkouts here, with the "traffic light" system on top like the very first generation of them that I ever saw; it's only quite recently that drugstore chains in the US seem to have really embraced self checkouts, but it's not entirely surprising that London Drugs was ahead of the curve. The regular lanes have fairly-generic cube register lights, but with an added "Cashier" label at the top (which seems a little odd) and numbers that look extra large.
