Strangely, while the barrel-vaulted roof does go all the way to the back of the building (as with the other wavy-roof Tradewells), the ceiling inside drops down over a small portion of the rear salesfloor. I'm guessing this area was originally part of the stockroom or possibly where the service departments were, but I'm still not sure why the ceiling doesn't continue through -- perhaps the area above the stockroom was used for the original refrigeration and HVAC equipment, but that's just a guess.
