As is often the case in these ancient stores, some of the decor here seems to have been placed based on where it would fit rather than where it would make sense, such as the produce sign which is actually over the health and beauty department! Still, a few unsurprising oddities aside, I've been quite impressed with how well Modern works in old, small stores like this one -- as much as I like Lifestyle v2, the decor this store previously had, I've never been thrilled by how it looked in this sort of store. Plus, Modern has some mid-century flair that feels appropriate for a mid-century store!
