The produce department here is basically the same as in any other local Safeway these days, including the rectilinear layout that would later be retrofitted into basically every Safeway with the Lifestyle diagonal layout, whether or not the store got an overall remodel. Though this store's organic island looks extra long -- I don't think it would fit within the produce department if rotated 90 degrees, which is how these were typically set up before the produce reset. I'm guessing at least one of the center segments was added in the remodel, something they didn't bother to do in later remodels.
