Despite those giant skylights -- so big they were visible in the reflection on the car's windshield in that last photo -- the food court looked rather blah on my daytime visit, with all of the decorative lighting turned off, along with almost all of the normal lighting, which leads to a strangely dark look (though that part was a lot less noticeable in person than it is in my pictures). Even the gazebo neon was turned off! Speaking of the gazebo, I was looking through Google Maps photos again and this one popped up, showing it was at some point home to a carousel -- that makes the gazebo itself make sense, but now I have to wonder what the point of the checkerboard flooring was if that was the original intent for the space, since the carousel covered up almost all of that!
