Indoor pavilion

While the neon steals the show, there's a ton of other cool, and extremely 90s, architectural detailing going on here, like this little pavilion in the center of the food court with checkerboard tile underneath. The food court itself is quite an impressive space, with a soaring gabled ceiling full of giant skylights -- that's the reason I wanted to visit this mall at dusk, since I knew the neon wouldn't be nearly as visible (particularly in pictures) in full daylight. And in the background, the upper level corridor (this is a two-level mall, a rarity for the Northwest) is lined with those interesting recesses with uplighting within them, a detail I don't believe I've seen anywhere else before, but it looks quite nice!
