I couldn't decide which of these pictures to include, so I ended up including all of them

Yeah, this has been pretty repetitive, but that's just how it goes sometimes! Odd to see an unconventional tenant (the sheriff's office) right across from one that is generally only seen in successful malls, at least in my experience (H&M), but it's very nice to see that this mall has managed to maintain good levels of occupancy, even post-COVID, regardless of what the tenants are!

  1. It's usually not a good sign when a mall here has a real police office in it. Greenspoint Mall here in Houston, known locally as 'Gunspoint Mall', has had a police station in it for many years now for reasons that should be obvious given the name. While some malls have reputations for crime that perhaps aren't entirely warranted, Greenspoint does have some issues. Greenspoint has been a dying mall for about 25 years now and it's just barely hanging on these days. So, yeah, it's a bit strange to see a police office in what seems to be a mall that's doing okay, but maybe the police station is there more to assure shoppers proactively rather than trying to convince shoppers that the mall is still safe after several incidents like what happens here.

    1. Exactly, and that's why I'm surprised that there's one here. Then again, the mall locally that seems to have the worst violence issues -- Southcenter -- is also the one that seems to be the most successful! (That mall doesn't have a police station, as far as I know.)
