Heading towards the exit, we find the floral department, Starbucks kiosk, and an odd belted checkout -- that was probably installed, along with the Legacy express checkout sign, when Albertsons removed self checkouts from basically all of their stores right before the Safeway merger (most likely, they've since been removed and replaced by new self checkouts, yet again). Floral being over here seems to have been another change made in the late Blue and Grey Market stores, with older ones having it on the other side of the store, right next to the liquor department, instead. The place where the Starbucks is now was likely once the customer service counter, based on this picture posted by Retail Retell (which appears to show that late Blue and Grey Market stores like this one did keep the sideways aisles on half of the store) -- the Port Angeles store instead got a pizza counter in that spot during its PF&Hv1 remodel (a feature that appears to have been rather uncommon); I also seem to remember that store always having its customer service counter in the middle of the front end, like this one does now, but I can't remember what used to be in the corner next to the entrance, so maybe I'm just remembering wrong.
Thanks for the link!
