Back in 2018, it was still very common to see Safeways with old-style signage, but that all changed in 2019, when Safeway updated the signage on pretty much all remaining old-logo stores (it only took them 13 years from when they introduced their current logo!). As you can see in this photo and the previous one, this store is built on an extremely strangely shaped lot, with the front wall of the store being concave with a sharp bend pretty much right at the building's midpoint, a design I'm pretty sure I've never seen anywhere else.
