The back wall of the store is primarily home to dairy, one of the few typical QFC things about this store. But the ceiling here is certainly not typical -- it's full-height above all of the grand aisle departments on the right side, and along the back wall there's just a little strip of low ceiling, just enough to make things awkward for the decor designers. This store was built in 1999, so most likely, this was some sort of late change to the long-time standard QFC prototype, maybe even one made under Fred Meyer or Kroger ownership.
