If it wasn't already spoiled by the title, the blocked-off, gutted escalator here would be an instant sign to any Seattleite that we're now in a Sound Transit station. 😉 Westlake Station, at the core of downtown Seattle, is generally Sound Transit's busiest, but as we'll be seeing throughout this set, it's probably also the most run down, unfortunately. Anyway, this is a view from directly outside the Nordstrom entrance (off to the left), looking up towards street level.
