While I may not have a full tour to show you, this picture perfectly encapsulates the Nordstrom Rack aesthetic -- seas of boring fixtures, grey/beige walls, and minimal decor with basically no points of visual interest. I get that Nordstrom Rack is supposed to be a discount store, but this place still lacks any sort of soul, even more than the average discount-type store.
Hey, this Nordstrom Rack actually looks a tad bit nicer than the one near me in Willowbrook Mall! I have not been there in 5-6 years, which probably speaks to the appeal of the store (though I remember them having some nice shoes in wrong sizes), but I remember it being a pretty depressing place to be. ReplyDeleteWow, that store does look pretty awful! I would have thought that a store as nice as Nordstrom would have semi-nice discount stores too, but I guess not.
