Tortilla factory

 

Much of that additional space was used for their tortilla-making operation, something that I haven't seen anywhere else! (Though, admittedly, I think this is the only Hispanic grocery store I've photographed so far -- they aren't all that common around here.) The second soffit in the background is roughly where the customer-accessible area would have ended in the Albertsons/Haggen days.
