I doubt much has changed on the exterior of this store since it was originally built in the 80s, not even the sign. The angled walls, bare concrete column, and barrel-vaulted skylight have a serious 80s vibe to them, unlike the plain look of the rest of this building. Judging by the condition of the paint over here, I wouldn't be surprised if even that is original!
Wow, the paint here is certainly not fresher than fresh! You're right that the designs here does looks quite 1980s-like. In many ways, this part of the outside of the building looks like one of those 1980s outlet malls that popped up across the country that usually failed quite quickly and spectacularly.
