Stepping inside

Unsurprisingly, this store got new Banner decor elements when it remodeled, though that's not the whole story as we'll see later. You can already see one of the less-strange parts of the remodel here -- these aisles have low-clearance tri-sider aisle markers in the front but number-only ones in the back, for whatever reason. Up above, the drop ceiling with black grid lines is a classic Fred Meyer thing that's gone from basically all stores at this point (and this is one of the less strange ceiling finishes we'll see in this store).
