The old Albertsons road signs certainly look rather the worse for wear at this point, though at least the blue background is right at home! Across the street (and across the city line), the QFC is visible in the background. The shear amount of grocery stores in this part of the region is quite surprising -- at one point, both Albertsons and QFC had two other stores within a couple miles of here, though one of each has since closed (along with this Albertsons, obviously) -- along with a Fred Meyer, at least three Safeways, and plenty of other grocery stores. This seems like a fairly generic suburban-style area, so I have to wonder why grocery chains liked building stores around here so much.

The sign does look like it has seen better days, but I think the sign is holding up better than that Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser there in the corner! Then again, seeing an Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser here in the 2020s is certainly quite rare so that thing is a survivor!
