I visited this store in spring 2020 (just after I moved in to my Pinehurst apartment, which was about equidistant between this store and the Northgate QFC that I featured at that time), which was during the time period in which many local grocery stores and drugstores turn their front sidewalks into an almost garden center. Beyond that, you can see the multi-tiered solaria that make up the front of this store -- this is a fairly generic building for the most part, but those are just perfect for something built in 1980!
The 'garden center' aside, this reminds me of walking into a Greenhouse Kroger circa 1985! It'll be interesting to see what the inside of the QFC looks like. I'm prepared to be disappointed given the current state of Kroger, but who knows. Some Krogers do surprise in a positive way!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can see the resemblance there! And while this store's interior isn't anything special, I don't think there's anything wrong with it -- except for the brief time they used Neighborhood, QFC tends to keep their stores looking quite classy compared to the average Kroger.
