Welcome to Downtown Seattle!

This is one of the most recent sets in my backlog, with these pictures from just last month, but it's one that I've wanted to run for a long time now... I've just been waiting for the right time to get the pictures. This set was also inspired by some discussions that have been going on lately regarding what, exactly, makes something a mall, and I'm going to stretch that definition quite a bit with this set. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Here, we're looking up the Pine Street shopping corridor in Seattle, with the old Macy's just out of frame to the left; the building in the foreground (behind the Starbucks, because this is Seattle...) is the Westlake Center mall and office building, with the flagship Nordstrom to the right and the Pacific Place mall beyond that. Essentially, the premise of this set is that those three buildings, plus the Macy's and one other closed store, effectively form one combined mall, something that will hopefully make sense once I get to the end of this set.

As I mentioned yesterday, this is going to be another ultra-long set, with 300+ photos. As such, I've broken it into four sets: this one is exterior photos of all three buildings, then part 2 will be on Pacific Place, part 3 will be on Nordstrom, and part 4 will be on Westlake Center plus some NWTransport content.
