In between Sprouts and HomeGoods, there's a small strip of the original Albertsons facade that was left exposed. At first, I thought it might have been completely untouched, as the paint color looks a lot like what this store had as an Albertsons, but no -- this wasn't even fully exposed before the conversion, as this is right where the big Albertsons entrance facade was! You can even see the little utility access hatch thing in that Street View image. That explains why some of the concrete blocks look rather beat up, and I have to wonder why Albertsons even bothered installing the full decorative square block design towards the top of the wall when it was just going to be covered over by the facade. (That does explain the much less decorative design right above the square part, though!)
Hmm, interesting!
