Something I certainly can't complain about with the remodel is the addition of outdoor escalators (though they are a bit hidden -- clearly, the days of using escalators as a style statement are behind us, sadly). These provide a direct connection from the plaza to Saks, something that I'm surprised the mall people wanted (since it means that people are bypassing the mall itself).
