Cheese shop (no Murray here!)

Much less common is the Cheese Shop decor, also borrowed straight from Banner. In fact, this is the only time I've ever seen this decor locally -- practically all local Fred Meyers and QFCs from the Bountiful/Fresh Fare 2.0/Mercer years on have a Murray's Cheese counter instead. (I've only ever seen one other local Kroger with a recent decor package -- a Bountiful-decor QFC -- with a non-Murray's cheese counter.) This is a quite nice decor piece, so it's too bad it wasn't used more commonly, but at the same time, I have no clue why QFC didn't just make this a Murray's like they did everywhere else.

    Thanks for the link! Yep, this seems sorta rare; even the one in the link is now a Murray's.

      Interesting to hear that they converted it recently without a remodel! Some stores around here got Murray's counters a while back, but lately I've only seen them added/rebranded during remodels.
