The Barnes & Noble space, on the 7th and Pine corner, seems to be largely untouched from the day this store closed. I believe this was one of the stores that left because of the remodel (either because the lease was not renewed or because the rent went up too much) -- presumably, the mall's owners expected to be easily able to replace Barnes & Noble, but they haven't had any luck.
