Black and green

It seems that the original Pacific Place gave the original tenants a good bit of leeway to design their own street-facing facades, meaning that the Barnes & Noble space is all done up in their traditional green color (which doesn't seem to have held up well over the years in this case, unfortunately). On the light pole, one of Pacific Place's advertising banners was still hanging on from the remodel period, with the "Where Big Changes Await" branding that showed up towards the end of the remodel (I imagine before they realized how badly the mall would be impacted by COVID -- they probably don't have much of an advertising budget these days, plus recent changes have almost always been negative!).
