Judging by the filler items on the DVD shelving, I'm guessing this department was in a rather sorry state even before the closing started. And the extremely prominent references to DVDs make it feel a bit behind the times -- presumably, most of what they were selling in recent years would have been Blu-Rays, and that's even what the display poster on the left appears to be showing!
