The unsigned aisle 1, home to some dairy items along with soda, is almost completely walled off from the rest of the store, with the shelves in line with the ceiling bulkhead only leaving a small gap below the lower ceiling. Those giant columns certainly don't help with the claustrophobic feeling either! Seeing as this space was originally designed for QFC (this store replaced an old one of theirs, after all), I have to wonder if this part of the store was originally intended to be used as back room space of some sort and was changed to be salesfloor space later on in the design process.
