Yellow deli

Apart from the small bread section, the entire left wall beyond the produce department is home to the deli -- first the cold deli (yellow), and then the prepared foods section (black). The whole left actionway feels quite penned in, with those big V-shaped columns running down both sides and the middle.

  1. The black color is definitely a good sign the store got a more recent remodel. That seems to be incorporated into a lot of recent remodels for prepared foods, regardless of the décor. (Unfortunately it's mostly just a blank wall...)

    1. Interesting -- this sort of setup was used in some of the few QFC Neighborhood remodels, which came early in the decor's lifespan (though in those cases, it was used with Banner's Bistro decor).

    2. Yeah, I think that bistro décor was the precursor to this for sure. I'm not even sure that's from Banner or if like the black wall we see here, it was not décor specific -- I know I've seen photos of it in bountiful stores, too!

    3. Interesting -- I always thought it originated with Banner, but maybe not.
