I may have touched on this before, but another highly noticeable oddity about this store is the lack of a defined front end. The checkouts are kind of oddly placed in the middle of the store (and if you notice something weird about them in this picture, hold that thought), and the customer service counter and office are just kind of plopped down in front of the brick-and-windows wall, without much to really separate them from the salesfloor. I know some stores (including both Fred Meyer and QFC) typically do have floating customer service counters, but it looks weird here. (Also, that windowless office dropped onto the salesfloor looks like a rather unpleasant space to work in!)
