I'm back! It was nice having a little time off, and even though this wasn't supposed to be a retail vacation, I still visited several stores -- in particular, a bunch of oddball Fred Meyers! And one of them solves some mysteries about this store, something I'll talk about when I get to that store (which I'm planning to feature in my next long-post slot after the next Macy's set). Anyways, here's a view down the front actionway, featuring the mix of flat and tri-sider aisle markers that's typical of modern Fred Meyers (or, well, all Fred Meyer decor packages since at least Northwest, thinking of it...). Sadly, as we'll see soon, the front end isn't really any less boring than the back wall.
