Main store

One of the major complaints I've heard about Artisan is that stores with it tend to look dark. I point that out because while this picture does look a bit dark, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary in person. On the other hand, one of my complaints about my current phone is that it tends to make pictures look darker than I'd like, unfortunately. So don't let that weigh too heavily on your opinion of this place!

  1. Ugh, concrete floors, with tile scar no less, are bad enough as it is, but now Kroger/Fred Meyer is using concrete colored walls to go along with concrete floors?

I'm sure you feel differently about the floors at the very least, lol.

    1. Ha, pretty sure that's a Starbucks thing more than a Fred Meyer thing! I've seen full Starbucks with the same color scheme.

    2. Yeah, you're probably right about that being a Starbucks thing. Still, given the concrete floor color, it's not a good look at the entrance of the store! Well, maybe I'm the only one who feels that way!

  2. This store appears to have left its ceiling alone though, so the darkness shouldn't be much of an issue. It's the stores that paint the ceiling black where my complaint is how dark it becomes. In Oxford it turns out that they only did the new portion of the store with black ceiling; they didn't paint the existing ceiling in the old part of the store. It's literally like night and day in the brightness level. When you can see the dividing line for overbearing shadows...

    1. Yeah, I think we had decided that only seems to be affecting new-build stores at this point. No real danger of seeing that around here, then...
