One surprising change in this remodel was the replacement of some of the service counters with new self-service counters, in both the meat and deli departments. I suppose it's not that weird in such a small store, but I wouldn't have expected QFC to scale back their service departments! Anyway, I really like how the new decor looks here, with the industrial-looking framework on these signs matching up with the odd crossbeams coming out of the soffit in this half of the store.
