Looking back

Looking this way, the store doesn't look nearly as dark, so maybe it was just a trick of where I was standing earlier! Anyway, here's a look from the meat department back towards dairy. As in most of these conversions, Safeway painted the cases black (replacing Albertsons' silver color), which is a nice improvement that I wish they had carried forward into the Safeway remodels (especially since Safeway's standard beige looks much more outdated than Albertsons' silver, in my opinion).
